It’s early September.
As summer draws to a close, folks are laying aside their summer flings, returning to school and work, and already thinking about the months ahead. Yep, the time has come when people start looking for that one with whom they can settle down and snuggle up to when the cold season keeps us indoors.
While you’re drafting that cuffing season lineup and picking out the one (or two or three or four) who you’ll be up under when the temperatures drop, here’s a playlist for inspiration. It’s filled with Black alternative artists in the genres of alt R&B, alt rock, punk, electropop, and a few things in between. Go get ’em.
